Get your top AI use cases from an AI audit call

Tell us about your business, then pick a time. One of our founders runs the call, names the two or three places we’d start with AI, and tells you where a simpler fix would beat it.

The call

What happens on the AI audit call

Bring a normal week to talk through. The call covers three things, and you hear our answer before it ends.

  1. Your week

    How the work moves

Walk us through a normal week, from the first customer inquiry to the invoice. We ask who does each step, how often, and what happens when it goes wrong.

  2. The cost

    Where it costs you

We point out the steps that eat hours and the handoffs where work sits waiting. We flag records someone types into two systems. Then we say which costs you most.

  3. Our answer

    What we would change first

We name the two or three AI use cases we’d start with. Where a process change beats AI, we say so.

You leave with

  • Your top two or three AI use cases, and which one we’d start with
  • Whether the Find phase is worth doing, and what it would cover
  • A short recap email afterward, so you can forward it
  • A plain no on any step where AI would not pay off
Fit

Who should book the call

If the first list sounds like your week, we should talk. If the second does, it’s probably too early, and we’d rather say so now.

Book the call if

  • You run a 10 to 200 person business, anywhere in the US
  • Work moves between systems that don’t talk to each other
  • Your best employees spend hours on work that feels like it should run itself
  • Growing the business means hiring more people to keep up

Probably not yet if

  • You want a tool picked and installed before anyone looks at the process
  • No one who knows how the work runs can join the call
  • You need a fixed quote before anyone has seen the operation
  • The process you want automated still changes every week
What we look at

What an AI readiness assessment looks at

The AI audit call works through all five, using your business as the example. Any one of them can stop AI from paying off.

  1. Where the hours go

Which steps take the most time from the most people, and what already runs on its own.

  2. Whether your systems share data

Records someone types into two tools, and the mistakes that creep in when the copies do not match.

  3. What your tools can already do

Software the team works around or never switched on. The fix might be using it, or canceling it.

  4. Whether the work is written down

Steps that stop when one person is out, and whether anyone else could pick them up.

  5. Whether your team will use a new system

The people doing the work, and whether someone above them will back the change.

Our approach

Why we fix the process before adding AI

We start with a business process audit. Every process gets four questions, in this order, and AI only comes up at the fourth.

  1. Does this step need to exist?

Some recurring work has outlived the reason it started. Dropping it costs nothing.

  2. Should the process change first?

If the steps run in the wrong order, automating them locks the wrong order in. Fixing the order is cheaper.

  3. Can your current systems do it?

Before buying anything, we check whether two systems you already run can be connected to do the job.

  4. Is AI the right tool for what is left?

AI fits work that repeats often and follows a pattern. If what’s left looks like that, it’s a use case worth doing.

Next step

From the AI audit call to working systems

You can stop after any step. Nothing gets built until Find shows what’s worth building.

Step

The AI audit call

No charge for thirty minutes

Get my top AI use cases

A conversation about how your work runs, with one of our founders. A short recap email follows with the use cases we talked through.

What you get

  • No demo, nothing to sign
  • Your top AI use cases, named on the call
  • A plain answer on whether Find is worth it

No charge for the call. The recap email is yours whether or not you go on to Find.

Find

$2,500 for two weeks

Two weeks with your team, looking at where the work gets stuck. You get a ranked list of the fixes worth making.

What you get

  • A ranked list of the fixes worth making
  • The effort and the likely payback beside each fix
  • Where to start: a process change or a build

Credited toward the ongoing engagement if you go on to it.

The build

From $10,000 a month

We build the fixes from the top of your list and train your team to run them. You decide whether to start once you have seen the list.

What you get

  • Deliverables agreed before work starts
  • Systems you already own connected first
  • Handover with documentation

Month to month, never by the hour.

Keep it working

Included in the ongoing engagement

Once a build is live, we stay on. We check each system every month, fix what isn’t holding up, and keep training your team to run it.

What you get

  • Every live system checked and kept running
  • A monthly report on what each system saves you
  • Training for your team each month

Part of the ongoing engagement, not a separate fee.

Before you book

How much does the AI audit cost?

Nothing. The AI audit call takes thirty minutes, with nothing to sign. If a deeper look is worth it, that is Find, at a fixed $2,500, credited toward the ongoing engagement if you go on to it.

Do we get anything in writing?

Yes. A short recap email follows the call. It lists the use cases we talked through and where we’d start. The ranked list of fixes, with the effort and likely payback beside each one, comes from Find.

What if nothing is worth fixing?

Then we say so on the call. The fix can be a step removed, a handoff changed, or a tool you already pay for switched on. When AI is the right tool, we build it.

FAQ

Questions about the AI audit

If your question isn’t here, email preferredaipartners@gmail.com. We reply within a business day.

What is an AI readiness assessment?

An AI readiness assessment checks whether AI can save a business time and money. It looks at where the hours go, whether your systems share data, and what your tools can already do. It also asks whether the work is written down, and whether your team will use a new system. We make a first pass on the AI audit call. Find goes through each one with your team, and the ranked list of fixes comes out of it.

How is an AI audit different from a business process audit?

A business process audit maps how work moves and where it wastes time. An AI audit asks the next question, which is where AI would pay off. We do both, in that order, because automating a step that shouldn’t exist wastes money. That’s why the call starts with how your week runs and not with AI tools.

Will you tell us not to use AI?

Yes, when that’s the honest answer. The better fix can be deleting a step, changing a policy, or switching on a tool you already pay for. When AI is the right tool, we say so and we build it.

How do you work out whether AI will pay for itself?

In the Find phase, saved hours count as money only when a cost stops, a hire you planned isn’t needed, or work you turn away today gets done. We count one of those for each process, so the same hours never get counted twice. If the hours just get absorbed into the day, we say so and count nothing. Anything we can’t get from you stays marked unknown. We never fill it in with an industry average.

Who will we talk to?

Sebastian Alidad, one of our founders, who would also do the work. There’s no sales rep in between. We’re based in Orange County, California, and take calls with businesses anywhere in the US. On your side, bring whoever can explain how the work gets done: the owner, the operations lead, or both.

Is this a sales call?

Partly, because we hope it leads to work. It isn’t a demo, though. You’ll know what we’d change before anyone talks about price.

Know which AI use cases are worth doing

Answer a few questions and pick a time. If nothing is worth doing, we’ll tell you that too.
